Gel Plate Printing

Gel plate printing produces fabulous colourful one off prints, a mono-printing process without the need of a press. This includes pattern, texture and layering.

In this workshop you will:

• use cut and torn stencils

• layer for richly textured and patterned prints

• use acrylic paint to print by hand

• use plants in your print

• print directly from your own quick painting

• registration for adding depth

 

By the end of the workshop you will feel confident to continue making your own gelli prints at home and take with you a recipe to make your own plate.
